Beekeeping Classes

Many local beekeeping associations will offer a beekeeping “short course”, introductory class, or other sort of bee school. The TBA encourages all beekeepers to take advantage of the fellowship and mentorship offered by local beekeeping clubs. Below are upcoming classes.


South Central Kentucky Beekeepers School, February 3, 2017, 9am – 3pm, Allen County Scottsville High School, 1545 Bowling Green Rd, Scottsville, KY 42164

Overton County Beekeepers Association will be offering its 2 day Beginning Beekeeping Class on February 9th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturday February 10th from 8:00 am until 2:00pm.  $10.00 fee for the class/training guide. (lunch will be provided) Location: Millard Oakley Overton County Library. Cookeville Beekeepers short course will be presented on Saturday March 3 from 8:00 – 3:00 (lunch from 12-1) Doors open at 7:30 at the Collegeside Church of Christ 252 East 9th Street Cookeville, TN 38501.

Robertson County Beekeepers short course is Friday, Mar 8, 6-9pm and Saturday, Mar 9, 8am-12noon at the Robertson County UT Extension Office, 408 Main Street in Springfield, TN. To enroll, please email your name, address and phone number to:
